What are Pariplay’s main products and services in Latin America?
Our main product in the region is Fusion®, that is what we call our aggregator platform focused on regulated markets. Pariplay has a solid product where we give the client a dedicated instance for each supplier and direct access to their commercial team. This is not only for marketing and product positioning issues but both the supplier and the operator can negotiate pricing, exclusive or network promotions, and maximize results.
Also, our game studio Wizard Games continues to grow in LatAm, showing great potential for our content. The same happens with our engagement tools: tournaments, spin-that-wheel, free-spins, and raffle-rocket, which allow operators to develop their campaigns and activities to improve the players’ experience.
What role is Pariplay playing in the Latin American markets?
Our focus is entirely on regulated markets. Our mission is to be the aggregator of choice in regulated markets. That is why our key countries are Argentina for the provinces or cities that are regulated, Colombia, and Mexico.
In addition, 2024 comes very strong and with a fortified gaming portfolio with the acquisition of the Neogames/Pariplay group by Aristocrat. This gives us the power to further expand with our own high-quality product, starting with Mexico, and from there continue our expansion throughout the region. It is worth mentioning that our Fusion® aggregator continues and will continue to be our base product in Latam, only now very solidified with the exclusive distribution of Aristocrat’s games, which as you well know are very well known in the land-based casino market.
On the other hand, Peru and Brazil have joined the regulated markets which allows us to grow exponentially in the region. Latin America has gone from being an emerging region to a fully focused market.
What will change or improve Pariplay’s current positioning in the market with the support of this giant?
I would say that with the acquisition Aristocrat is immediately positioned in the online gaming and online lottery market at a global level, thus forming a highly respected and renowned company with products in practically all gaming verticals that will now include iGaming, iLottery, and Sports betting.
How do you value the opening of the Brazilian market, which is generating so many expectations?
The regulation of gaming in Brazil positively changes the perspectives and focus that we have for Latin America. The eyes of the gaming and entertainment world now look to Brazil and it has become the point of focus for most of the companies in the industry. The expansion plans are very aggressive and I understand in general it helps us as a region to continue to grow.
My dream has always been to see Latin America grow to the point where local leaders and companies are the ones that expand into other global markets. Brazil’s regulation in conjunction with others that will join in due course will make this phenomenon possible in the very near future.
How do you assess the regulatory wave in the rest of Latin America?
It is a fundamental step for the development and healthy growth of the territory. It is time to move to formality and start setting an example of how governmental and private entities can work in unison to achieve social welfare. It is important to create a balance and understand that under proper regulation it is possible to promote entertainment and at the same time help the vulnerable areas of the citizenship without exposing them openly.
