–          How did you end up in the iGaming business and have you enjoyed the ride?

I have joined the gaming business as a producer in Playtech over 8 years ago. It has been a tremendous experience for me and with the passion I have for making games I have enjoyed every second of it.

–             Pariplay was founded in Israel. In what other locations do you operate and where are you for example based?

I am based in Israel but most of our operations are in Sofia, Bulgaria and Chennai, India. Our marketing and commercial teams are based in Malta and we also have part of our commercial team and our legal department in Gibraltar.

–             In my opinion Pariplay is way too unknown among Finnish players. Obviously, this needs to change but how would you say Pariplay is different from the competition? What might be the elements that make Pariplay stand out from the crowd?

I can talk about this topic for hours, but I will try to be brief. We are very player focused and oriented and we base our games on research and data. We believe that by understanding our player we can tailor the experience better to their tastes while giving them a fun and entertaining game experiences. We have a varied portfolio and we constantly innovate on new features (like WILD Candy for example), existing and well-known features with a new twist (like Dragons of The North Deluxe) and classic experiences for mature audiences (like Hot Wild 7s).

–             How often do you plan to publish new games? Do you have a logic or a blueprint you follow when it comes to designing new slots?

We release 2 new slot games a month. We follow a strict market research and analysis before deciding which game features and theme we want to focus on. Then we break down the math to different parts and move to the art, animations and finally development and iterations. The last part is especially important as that is where the game really comes together. Only through an iterative process we can reach the level of quality we expect from our games.

–             What features create a perfect slot in your opinion? Any chance of getting a bonus buy feature for the likes of highly volatile Grand Loot?

It depends on the market and research. I believe the players can feel the game extremely fast when they start playing and if they get to a point where they feel they can win big they will stay and invest in the game. We are reviewing several external features to be on top of our games and, of course, Bonus Buy is one of them so we believe that the players have something to look forward to.

–             Majority of Pariplay slots seem to be low / medium volatility games but the newest slots like Grand Loot are something quite different. Very high volatile slots seem to be the trend nowadays but how do you see all this?

I believe a varied portfolio is especially important. Players like to try new things all the time while mature players tend to have their go to slots or slot types and those are the ones they will always play. We are extremely focused on making sure we provide our players with the ability to try new things while also having existing and known elements for them to enjoy. For a long time, we were focused on low-medium volatility slots and I believe this year it is time to also introduce a few high volatility ones as well.

–             There is plenty of jackpot games in Pariplay catalogue. Finns love high volatility games and jackpots like no other. Should players expect to see progressive jackpots in future?

Of course. We believe that Jackpots, or Super Bonus as we like to call them now, are an essential part of the players’ experience and seeing those numbers rise the more they play is part of that feeling of being able to win big which I talked about earlier.

–             Rumble Rhino is Kasinoranking’s favorite Pariplay slot of all time. What is yours and why?

Jack in the Box is my favourite game, and it isalso the original concept behind Rumble Rhino. The combination of the unusual reel set, mystery symbols, huge symbols and free games with rising multiplier takes me into a flow state which very few slots ever did. I can play that game for hours.

–             Saving the planet and natural diversity is a task of huge importance. I personally was thrilled to see Rumble Rhino 2019 and the collaboration with Save the Rhino Foundation. Is this kind of charity something you are going to do in future as well?

Part of our strategy when working on games is to bring attention to world issues and see if we can help with any. We believe that the perception of the games can be enhanced by this focus and the experience of the players can be even better knowing they support a good cause while playing the games. So the answer is yes, we are looking into more collaborations like this for our future games.

–             What can the players expect from Pariplay in future?

A lot. We have many new game releases planned in 2021 and we can’t wait to share those games with the casinos and players. We are also working on several exciting features which will let players enjoy their slot experience even more. We always strive to improve the quality of our games and introduce new animations, features and themes to make sure that players enjoying our games in the best way possible. So there is a lot to look forward to in Pariplay’s Games production.
